Permanent Residents (PRs): PRs can purchase all life and health insurance products, including CPF-enabled plans like HPS, DPS, and Integrated Shield Plans, and are eligible for Careshield Life. Restrictions may apply based on nationality or citizenship.
Work Pass Holders: Work pass holders can buy life insurance and integrated shield plan payable by cash or SRS but cannot access CPF-related products like Careshield Life and DPS. They may need to purchase higher-tier hospital coverage.
Dependent Pass/Student Pass Holders: Non-working pass holders can buy cash-payable life insurance and integrated shield plan products payable by cash but are ineligible for CPF-related plans and may face nationality-based restrictions.
Short-Term Visit Pass Holders: Visitors can buy certain life and international health insurance products, but with limited coverage, no access to CPF/SRS plans, and must be in Singapore to purchase. Documentation of funds may be required.
